Frankie Edgar used his wrestling skills and footwork to neutralize the dangerous power and boxing of Cub Swanson enroute to a late fifth round submission win at UFC Fight Night 57.

Edgar wore down Swanson with his takedowns, and relentless ground-and-pound.

It was an impressive performance for the former lightweight champion.

UFC Tonight analyst Kenny Florian recently backed up Nick Diaz’s recent assertions that former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre is scared of fighting Anderson Silva.

Diaz made the assertions at the UFC The Time is Now press conference event November 17th.

Diaz is scheduled to fight Silva at UFC 183 in January 31st, 2015.

MMA Crossfire – Watch the TUF 20 Ep 9 preview and then vote

#6 American Felice Herrig and #14 Canadian Randa Markos get it on tonight in the first quarterfinal TUF 20 matchup.

Markos surprised everyone with a convincing win over the #1 seed Tecia Torres in the first episode.

She will be tested with Herrig, who like use Muay Thai but has a decent ground game.
